House Rules:
If you have played any game, there are all sorts of rules that some use and some do not. As such we have some that we use, some that we don't and others that we have adjusted. Please keep in mind that this is not an exhaustive list.

0.~DM: The DM is not always right, as this is a group game, however, all rules are finalized by the DM.
0.1~House: Issak, Christy, Ian and Cammie enjoy hosting the game at their house. Let's keep it that way and remember that.

1.~Books: All Core Setting WotC books besides Psionics and Savage Species are allowed. Unearthed Arcana (not, Monte Cooks Arcana Unearthed) is allowed with approval. Please check Issak's Ultimate 3.5 PHB which has errata, house rules and other notes for races, classes, feats and more. I've cut my book and inserted pages from Miniatures Handbook, Complete Warrior, Complete Divine, Races of Stone, Kalamar Players Guide, and AEG Mercenaries and others. These books and sources are considered approved (but some are 3.0 in their writtings so double check).
1.2~Books: WotC Campaign Setting books (such as frcs) which have feats and spells are often allowed in our Greyhawk Campaign, with prior approval. As Kenzer (Kalamar Setting) must have approval by WotC for all books with the Dungeon & Dragon logo on it, they are considered official, but must have prior approval.
1.2~Books: WotC's website has errata, FAQ's, many cool spells, PrC's, and many other materials for use in the game. Generally spells, Errata and FAQ's are allowed. PrC's are on a case by case basis.
1.3~Books: d20 sourcebooks by AEG are typically accepted. AEG's Mercenaries is allowed in its entirety, and Issak consideres it to be as valuable as the PHB. Many Fantasy Flight Games sourcebooks are allowed, as are many of Necromancer Games. Monte Cooks' Arcana Unearthed is not. Nor are many of the Mongoose Publishing books. Use them for ideas and concepts, but a class, feat, spell or PrC must be approved - and not asked for on the spot!.

2.~Ability Scores: Characters are born and raised with 30 points to place in their attributes.
2.1~Optional Additional Character Generation Points (CGP):
Each player may earn up to 5 Character Generation Points (CGP) to use on their character. In order to earn CGP's the player must write at least a 2 paragraph background for the character to earn 1 CGP, with one additional paragraph per point earned. Therefore if a player wanted 3 CGP, they would have to write a 4 paragraph background for their character. A Maximum of 6 CGP's may be earned. The CGP may only be used in the manner and uses specified below.

3.~Races: All the standard Races from the PHB are allowed, as are Hobgoblin and Half-Hobgoblin races from Kalamar's Players Guide. Also, the new Goliath race from Races of Stone is available.

4.~Classes: All PHB classes are allowed. The Fighter has been altered, giving additional feats (check out the DrSpunj's Class Balance spread sheet and you'll see why). As well as the Sorcerer and Wizard. Please see Issak's Ultimate PHB for notes and information pertaining to these adjustments. Classes not included in the Ultimate 3.5 PHB must be approved. Classes (including Prestiage) from Mongoose Publishing most likely will not be approved, however some of their Power Classes can be accepted.

5.~Skills: X

6.~Feats: As above with Classes, and books, all WotC Core books are accepted as are

7.~Equipment: We do play with Encumberance. Equipment from PHB, Miniatures HB, Complete Warrior, Complete Divine, Arms & Equipment, AEG's Mercenaries, and Kalmar's Eq. Book are allowed. Mongoose has their Ultimate Equipment book, and I have mistakenly allowed Thanesse to shoot down a Dracolich with an arrow from it. No more.

8.~Combat: Miniatures: We use a 1" square mat and Miniatures to represent our Characters and our Monsters. The House has many, but you are free to bring your own.
8.1~Combat: Initive: We roll inititive every 3 rounds. 1,4,7,10, etc...
8.2~Combat: We also realize that we are in Vegas. So we GAMBLE! We gamble at who will be the first to fumble (must confirm) in a given combat (worth an extra 50xp), how many fumbles there will be in a given combat (worth an extra 50xp), and how many rounds the combat will last (worth an extra 100xp).
8.3~Combat: Flanking: We believe that you should get the flanking bonus (+2) if there are two or more attackers vs a defender. They do not have to be directly behind the person, but may be as much as 90' with the person.

10.~Magic/Spells: As above in regards to allowable books and source materials.
