February 19th, 2008: Everyone knows I'm not the biggest proponent of 4th
edition but here recently they've put out a book that I have to give some credit to, and that's Open Grave by
Bruce Cordell, Brian James and Eytan Bernstein. Over at eDragon (another publication I am not behind these days) I found a
couple good articles on the book. One by Bart Carroll and
Steve Winter
(who is no slouch in the Greyhawk column) and the other an
excerpt from the book. I've even
thumbed through it at the game shop to admire the art. But while I won't buy it, this book does give me hope
that Greyhawk in the future might be handled well, maybe even with more delicacy than Forgotten Realms got.
Speaking of Open Grave, check this out! (points the remote)
