Vecna: Hand of the Revenant is a 2002 graphic novel published by Iron Hammer Graphics, written by Modi Thorsson and illustrated by Kevin McCann.
Plot
[edit | edit source]Vecna: Hand of the Revenant recounts Vecna's siege of the city of Fleeth and includes flashbacks to Vecna's days there as a boy, some 900 years prior to the siege. The work's introduction includes a statement that the book is a portion of the Chronicle of Secret Times by Uhas of Neheli, made in-character by Uhas himself.[1]
In addition to Vecna, the novel also features Kas, Acererak, the Serpent, and Vecna's mother, Mazzel.
Publishing history
[edit | edit source]The graphic novel is referred to on the title page as "Book One", and it ends on a rather large cliffhanger. It is presumed there might have been a "Book Two", but one was never published.
