How to Contact the Grodog
Emergency Earthquake/Tornado Contact Info
From our Geology page:
Heather and Allan will call Heather's family in Wichita if they aren't together during an earthquake and can't reach each other directly, and Heather's family will call Allan's family in NJ to let them know what's up. (Need to revise this, since we'll be in KS, and calling ourselves doesn't work so well...).
General Contact Info
The grodog can be reached through many means, most of them involving some form of networking technology.
US Postal Service
Allan and Heather can be reached at:
That address is also now Allan's shipping address for work-related packages and mailings:
You are always welcome to send Allan care packages of unwanted D&D books (preferably from 1985 of before), your old Porcupine Tree and No Man CDs, first edition books by Michael Moorcock, Neil Gaiman, and other such bric-a-brac =)
If you're not a telemarketer, you can call us at 316 683 6090, which is our home phone number (it's also the same number Heather's parents have had since she was little). You can reach Heather's new cell phone at 316 644 4585, whlie Allan's cell remains the same at 408 655 3095.
We sometimes sleep odd hours, but can generally be counted upon to be conscious until 10pm CDT (that's 11pm to you East Coasters and 8pm to you West Coasters). Obviously in an emergency, call us at anytime.
Allan's work number at Juniper Networks remains 408 745 8175. He can check work voicemail from anywhere in the world, so he'll eventually get a message left there. Through the wonders (?) of modern technology, when you call Allan's work phone, it simultaneously rings his cell phone, so that's generally the best way to try to reach him (although if he's at work, and doesn't recognize your phone number or is in a meeting, he's not likely to pick up anyway).
Send to firstname.lastname@example.org to reach Allan. Heather's email address is unlisted, due to her aversion to spam (not that I'm exactly spam-friendly, mind you...). If you need to reach Heather, but don't have her email, email Allan or call one of us.
You can also email me at work at email@example.com if need be. Call if it's important, though!
For alpha-numeric pages (which includes the alpha, email, and web paging options below), I have a 240 character limit. I'm pretty sure that my pager is national, but haven't tested that theory out yet....
If you want to page me, you can send text messages to my cell phone via either of the following methods:
Allan is rarely on chat anymore, but when he is, you can find him at:
