Baerald map
The Baerald map (also known as the DMG 2024 map), is the common name used to refer to the map of the City of Greyhawk illustrated by Francesca Baerald in 2024.

Description
[edit | edit source]The Baerald map has an Old World/Age of Exploration look and feel to it. It is faithful to previous illustrations, it is reminiscent of the Valusek map, being a more painterly or more illustrative representation of the city in a map, and is viewed from a more isometric view. It uses a more dense concentration of buildings, which is also characteristic of the Tetreault map and Schley map.
Locations
[edit | edit source]Depicted on the map are many established locations in the city:
There is also a new location added to the city:
- Unearthed Arcana in the Artisans' Quarter.
Publishing history
[edit | edit source]The map was first previewed in detail in the promotional video for the Dungeon Master's Guide (2024), Chris Perkins saying of the map, "we describe the City of Greyhawk, flesh out some of it's places and inhabitants."[1]
