Berrensen Astraden is the leader of the Knights of the Sun and Moon. In 585 CY he tries to take control of Luvern, in the North Province of the Great Kingdom. He does so because he believes the current ruler is unduly cruel and wants to free the people living there, and because of his late wife's ancestral claim to the land. In 585, he works undercover doing manual labor to avoid suspicion and anti-Pholtus sentiment[1].
Description
[edit | edit source]Berrensen has all the benefits of his youth and is strong and agile.
Appearance
[edit | edit source]Sir Berrensen is an even 6' and has hazel eyes with auburn hair[1].
Personality
[edit | edit source]Sir Barrensen is exceptionally charismatic and less rigid in his devotion than any of the other knights in the order. This is, in part, why he is the leader—on top of being a more competently trained fighter and among the oldest of them [1].
Religion
[edit | edit source]Sir Berrensen, while he is not a cleric of any sort, is highly devoted to Pholtus, as is the whole order. Part of the reason they are in Luvern and why they are so careful to keep a low profile is that they have been forced out of other towns in Anti-Pholtus violence[1]. Sir Berrensen also has a list of various artifacts and relics that are scattered throughout the area, and he and the others in the order have been charged with finding them. Saving Luvern is, in part, a means to that end[2].
