Dweornite

Dweornite gems are tear-shaped, blue-white stones. Found only beneath the Horned Lands, their appearance beneath the oerth cannot by predicted; it seems they might turn up anywhere without regard to surrounding minerals.

Dweornite manifests a variety of magical attributes. Some are empathic. Some may be crushed to create potions. Some contain spells. Some, if crushed in the hand of a mage, allow expended spells to be regained. A very, very few may even grant wishes.

Dweornite may have a common origin with the dweomerstones of the Cairn Hills, as well as ioun stones.

Dweornite may also attract beholders.
