Campaign documents
[edit source]There is only a brief set of rules for the Legends of Greyhawk campaign, currently—Legends of Greyhawk Guide v1.0 (April 2026). It covers character creation, and is a single page of rules with a second page which includes an FAQ, and a last page covering newer "additional sources" permitted in the campaign other than the Player's Handbook.
When campaign preview adventures first began being run, the only character creation guidelines were on DndBeyond, in an explanatory article.[1] The first version of the "beta" rules (v0.5) was released on 24 July 2025.[2] The next version (v0.6) was released 3 November 2025, and had a rules "expansion" for the first time, including select rules from a newly released sourcebook.[3][4] Less than a month later, on 25 November, more character options were announced, with the addition of the Artificer class and two subclasses (alchemist and cartographers).[5]
On 16 April 2026, the first non-beta version of the Legends of Greyhawk Guide were released through D&D Beyond.[6] While announcements had already been made in 2025 that LoG adventures would be available for at-home play, the release of this version came with the publishing of a new Legends of Greyhawk featured page on DnDBeyond.com and the release of the first publicly available LoG adventures.
