The County of Nimlee is a province of Keoland.[1]
History
[edit | edit source]The County of Nimlee was part of Keoland at least as far back as -242 CY, and its proximity to the capital of Niole Dra suggests it may have been a founding member at the kingdom's formal establishment as of -342 CY.
Geography

[edit | edit source]Nimlee is centrally located in Keoland, and encompasses the eastern stretch of the Zol River. It is bordered to the north by the Duchy of Dorlin, to the east by the Earldom of Linth, and the west by the March of Middlemead. Most notably, it is adjacent to the Royal District of the capital, Niole Dra.

[edit | edit source]According to the Keoland Census of 589 CY published by the Living Greyhawk Keoland website, the population of the County of Nimlee is 38,859, including 32,576 humans, 6,227 halflings, and 56 half-orcs. There also 58,840 poultry and 22,983 meat and dairy.[1]

Government
[edit | edit source]The County of Nimlee is a feudal province of the Kingdom of Keoland. In 591 CY, it is ruled by Countess Lissen Rheyd, a human of Oeridian descent and a cleric of the Suel goddess Lydia.
Economy

[edit | edit source]Nimlee is a significant trade route between the capital city Niole Dra, and draws considerable income from this. It connects the primary north-south roadway of Keoland to the capital city, and goods from the March of Middlemead and other western provinces pass through this way to the capital.
Like most of Keoland, it is also a significant producer of agriculture.

[edit | edit source]The County of Nimlee uses the standard currency of Keoland: the platinum griffon (pp), gold lion (gp), electrum eagle (ep), silver hawk (sp), and copper sparrow (cp).
