Strand is a village surrounding a keep that hosts a stable full of swift light warhorses and five resident mages due to its strategic importance, especially before the fall the Great Kingdom when it was used to spy on neighboring provinces. [1] Not to be confused with Strandkeep in the Principality of Ulek.
Geography
[edit | edit source]The keep is located halfway between Rel Deveon and Kalstrand, on the Thelly River.

[edit | edit source]The keep is run by a princeling named Karralak, who is one of Xavener's younger brothers.
Religion
[edit | edit source]The city is home to a small shrine to Istus, housing a famous relic, a small strand of her web. It is said to be able to tell whether a malady is caused by magic, and wheter a child has innate magical aptitude, which leads to an constant trickle of pilgrims looking to consult the strand.
