Tarrak is a well-respected mage and former apprentice and concubine to Graf Reydrich of the Southern Province.
Description
[edit | edit source]Appearance
[edit | edit source]Tarak is 5'6" with a slim build, with light brown hair which she wears in a long ponytail and green-hazel eyes.[1] However, she "enjoys using alteration spells to appear as a drow, an orc, a male human, or even as an ogre."[2]
Personality
[edit | edit source]She is deceptive, only maintaining loyalty to those who pose a threat to her otherwise, and exceptionally cruel to those she considers enemies.
Religion
[edit | edit source]Abilities
[edit | edit source]An extremely powerful magic user, able to invent and modify her own spells. She is under a curse/geas and cannot cast spells within two days of when Luna is full.
Spells Created
[edit | edit source]As part of her magical research Tarrak has created unique spell variants. For example, a fireball variant which is more damaging to those of elven descent. Another is a variation of *anitmate dead* which keeps the spirit of the person still in the animated corpse and they can still feel sensations.
Home
[edit | edit source]Possessions
[edit | edit source]Tarrak is known to hold a number magical items, including a ring of protection +1, bracers of defence, staff of stinking clouds, wand of frost, and a wand of fire. One of her most prized possessions is her book of infinite spells, which she uses in her magical experimentation.[1]
Relationships
[edit | edit source]Enemies
[edit | edit source]Tarrak considers all elves to be her enemies, as it was a Sunndi elven wizard who cursed her. She holds this wizard in particular contempt, and often sends out bounty hunters to try and kill hoping that will break the curse.
Allies and minions
[edit | edit source]Tarrak holds loyalty to Graf Reydrich as the head of the area where she lived and as a former lover. That loyalty is purely practical, however, as he was more powerful than she.[1]
She also has monster companions she captured and charmed. Most notable among them are a pair of leucrotta she often uses to hunt down human and demihuman prey.[2]
