The Weeping Hexagram is a black iron ring ten feet in diameter and inlaid with a bowed hexagram. It seeps blood when exposed to sunlight.[1]

Powers

[edit | edit source]

The Hexagram possesses the ability to animate dead, create darkness and illusions (phantasms), and summon otherworldly creatures. Its full powers have not been explored.[1]

It was discovered near the Ziggurat of Black.[1]

Destruction

[edit | edit source]

The Weeping Hexagram can be destroyed by the touch of a holy blade.[1]

History

[edit | edit source]

Details regarding the Hexagram's creation are unknown. It may pre-date Tharizdun's imprisonment.[1]

In 576 CY (6091 SD), the Scarlet Brotherhood discovered the artifact in a cavern near the Ziggurat of Black, a site dedicated to Tharizdun in the Tilvanot Peninsula. The Weeping Hexagram was taken to Hesuel Ilshar for analysis.[1]

In 581 CY (6096 SD), a group of "outworlders" led by a paladin of Heironeous attempted to destroy the Hexagram. The paladin succeeded in breaking the artifact into three pieces, but the Brotherhood intervened before it could be wholly destroyed. They continued to study the pieces and their fragmented powers, seeking to repair the artifact.[1]
