Winninger's Guide to the Underdark

Winninger's Guide to the Underdark is an in-universe book of lore detailing the Underoerth, including some information on mind flayers.[1] Its author is the sage Winninger.
A copy of this book is in the personal library of the archmage Kerleth in 592 CY.[2]
Creative origins
[edit | edit source]The title of this book is a reference to game designer Ray Winninger. Winniger is credited as a "referenced author" in the D&D sourcebook Drizzt Do'Urden's Guide to the Underdark[3], by Eric L. Boyd.
