Babylon 5

Certainly the best show on television, here are some links that will help you to explore B5's universe.

B5 is now on the air again, with TNT.  They're rerunning the entire series at 4pm EST.  Woohooo!

Babylon 5: Crusade News

Check out Netter Digital's 3/2/99 Press Release:   B5: Crusade will begin to air on June 9th, 1999!  Looks like they'll also re-air the TV movies, too.  Check out the Lurker's Guide for all the details, of course.

Crusade looks pretty cool, though of course different from B5.

Babylon 5 Links

The Lurker's Guide to Babylon 5, my current Bible/Necronomicon. If you like, you can skip directly to the Episode Listing (you could look for the Michael Moorcock reference in "The Geometry of Shadows" while there...its not hard to find).

The Shield link will take you to a web page that will give you info on how to help insure that Babylon 5 gets renewed (a somewhat moot point for season four, but it never hurts to get a jump on season five).

Columbia House Video and Warner Brothers are publishing the B5 videos.  Well worth checking them out!

Sierra On-Line is proud to announce the eagerly awaited and anticipated Babylon 5 space combat game for PC CD-ROM.  The game will feature real-time 3D, first person space combat combined with a dynamic game AI system and a robust strategy component.  Players will not only be able to fly and fight in their favorite Babylon 5 ships, but will also be able to plot strategy and tactics for their forces.  All of this will combine with a detailed simulation of the Babylon 5 universe to create unlimited replay, challenging conflicts and adrenaline pumping action.  Reference - "Guided Tour of Babylon 5" Sierra On-Line is pleased to announce the official Babylon 5 Reference CD-ROM.  This product is the definitive, last word on the Babylon 5 universe.  The CD has been created from the ground up by Babylonian Productions' own in-house staff, and has been meticulously researched and crafted to bring you a unique and detailed look at the world of Babylon 5.

The B5 role playing game-- The Babylon Project, written by Joseph Cochran, president of WireFrame, was produced in conjunction with Chameleon Eclectic.  Right now the license is, so far as I know, in limbo, as Joe and Chameleon parted ways.  I can't say I highly recommend the game, and if you're looking for definitive info about the setting, it mixes fact and fiction.  You're better off going to the Boxtree book Babylon 5: A to Z or the new B5 reference CD-Rom.

There's a B5 weekly newsletter called "The Zocalo": worth subscribing to it.

You might want to check out Chris Franke's web page, which has info on his current work on the new Babylon 5 soundtrack, entitled Messages from Earth.

If you purchase the various B5 starship models, Psy Corps badges and Ranger pins, etc., please read this note from JMS on the subject of bootleg reproductions.

Read Voltayre's Ecyclopedia Xenobiologica, a compendium of all the races to appear on B5. While browsing through the alien profiles, you might wonder about their level of technology--further info appears at The Babylon5 Technical Manual page.

The following page collects B5 Spoilers, so proceed further at your own risk.
