Fortnight's Feast

Fortnight's Feast is a summer holiday celebrated in Old Aerdy, but also Flanaess-wide, and most especially amongst Heironeans. This two-week event occurs over midsummer, at Richfest. It celebrates the victories of the Heironean armies of the Kingdom of Aerdy over Nyrondal cavalry during the Battle of a Fortnight's Length. The holiday lasts from the evening of Wealsun 25 to the morning of Reaping 4.[1]
"As the Great Kingdom slid into decadence and evil, this festival has slowly lost its original significance, and now serves as a festival of jousting, swordplay, reenactments of battles fought across the Flanaess, and bardic recitation of the deeds of long-fallen heroes."[1][2]
