Thallin is a village in the Duchy of Urnst.

Description

Thallin has seen better days, most of the buildings need repair and some have been abandoned.[2]

Geography

The village is in the eastern part of the Duchy in the Kehle County just west of Alden's Watch.

A small stream runs through the village called Thallin's Run.

Government

Thallin is administered by Lord Dyvas (Dah-VIE-ass) Panothal of House Panothol(a cadent house of House Pontirun), but he rarely bothers with such minor holdings, leaving Sheriff Cern to handle town affairs for the most part[3] until he married Lady Nayln Faeldon and retired between 591 CYand 593 CY.[4]

Economy

Thallin is largely dependent on travelers on the trade route and faming.[5]

Currency

Uses the duchy's standard coinage consisting of the platinum sterling duke (pp), gold duke (gp), electrum bright (ep), silver shield (sp), and copper common (cp).[6]

Merchant houses

House Faeldon owns a trading compound here, run by Lady Nayln Faeldon until ~593 CY.[2][1]

Notable locations

The Kicking Mule is the community's only inn and has a strict "No Magic" policy.[2] The Innkeeper is named Sulgen.
