The Tossing Troll is an inn and stables in southwestern Duchy of Urnst, near the Abbor-Alz. It lies on the trade route between Little Bridge to the north, and Rosewater and Molk in Molk County to the south. It was created for the Living Greyhawk campaign (2000-2008).
The Tossing Troll is nestled against an apple grove nearby a minor tributary of the Upper Lukala River. Its sign depicts "a troll throwing an orc across a brackish ditch."[1]
Description
[edit source]The inn has two floors with rooms for rent on the second floor.
Services
[edit source]The Tossing Troll makes their money from travelers and merchants being the only inn on the route. Additionally, they cater to organizations like the Sete Roughriders when the pass by on patrol.
The rooms available for rent are on the second floor of the inn. They are "spartan, but clean" and "each room could comfortably sleep four." Rooms have sturdy doors and secure latch, and one has a window overlooking the stable. There are typically several available.[2]
History
[edit source]Thugs attempt to burn down the inn in 591 CY. While the first floor is badly damaged, it is repaired.[3]
People
[edit source]The inn is operated by Golar "Side of Beef" and his young daughter Nulane.
