Plandarn Reshelfer is an assassin for the Midnight Darkness living and working in Edge Field. He poses as a foppish, mostly-retired merchant to allay suspicion while carrying out his assassinations, successfully pretending to be dumber than he actually is. Once he is no longer getting orders from the Hidden Sickle (585 CY+), he is free to pick his own targets, and doesn't care much for who, going for any worthwhile good-aligned target. In 585 CY, he begins working on a plan to go after Sir Berrensen Astraden and the Knights of Sun and Moon.[1]
Description

[edit | edit source]Plandarn is 6'1", has very light-colored hair, and bright blue eyes and a very nice smile.[1]
Personality
[edit | edit source]Plandarn likes being an assassin, but he doesn't get much satisfaction from the killing itself; rather he enjoys the planning and the stalking aspect more, as watching a carefully crafted plan fall into place gives him great satisfaction.[1] He also keeps trinkets from those he kills as trophies.[1]
Religion
[edit | edit source]While Plandarn does respect Nerull, is pleased to earn his favor, and believes in his role in shaping the course of Aerdy's recent cultural shift, he does not consider himself to be a full worshiper of the death god.[1]
Possessions
[edit | edit source]Plandarn keeps momentos from his victims.
He uses several specialized magical items in his work, including items which allow him to fly, transform himself, and even change his tracks.[1] He also has well-made weapons and armor with basic enchantments, which he coats in venom.[1]
Though he doesn't record his assassinations or names of his victims, he does keep notes and maps from his travels, including legends and lore, and things like magical items, which could be incredibly useful for someone researching such things.

[edit | edit source]Plandarn has a number of minions to aid in his assassinations and do his bidding. He has four who work with him in Edge Field, as well as one in Bellport and one in Eastfair so that he can keep up with what's happening in the greater area. He communicates with them via coded messages which he secretly distributes through his merchant façade.[1]
